I looked and didn't see anything for this. If I am wrong, please move/delete/combine whatever the case may be.

I recently got the Torque Pro app and was able to read CMP Offset with it. It takes a little work, so I figured I would post it here(found it on another Forum). Others can add tips and tricks that help.

To add CMP offset PID follow these steps:
Settings
Manage Extra PIDs/Sensors
Hamburger Button at Top
Add Custom PID
OBD2 Mode: "221301"
Long Name: "Cam Retard Offset" name is really whatever you want
Short Name: "CMP Offset" again whatever you want here
Minimum Value: "-100"
Maximum Value: "100"
Scale Factor: x1
Unit Type: "Degrees"
Equation: " ((signed(A)*256+b)*0.063) "
OBD Header: "6C10F1"
Does not override any PID
OK

Now you can add that readout on your display pages.

I intend to learn a lot more about the app and will add what I find in this thread, and would appreciate others doing the same.

Are they charging extra to display that info? Do you have to buy each PID seperately?

No, Torque doesn't charge extra for adding PIDs.

It's a pretty comprehensive app right out of the box but doesn't include all PIDs for all makes and models. FWIU they don't intentionally leave them out, it's just difficult to cover everything in a $5 app programmed by one or two people. At least they give you the option to add/create PIDs, DashCommand and other popular alternatives do not last I checked.

Can you get the CMP offset working on a 97?

can the ABS be cycled on a 97?

I was having a hell of a time getting those to work on my 97 Burb and quit. I cycled them on my long laneway instead but I know this may not fully work.

I paid for torque pro and then deleated it in aggravation!

Is it possible to get Torque to read the oil pressure on a 98, 7.4l burb?
I have tried a few pid's but have not found one that works yet.

I'm currently trying to do the same thing but have not had any luck yet. I believe the oil pressure gauge goes directly to the dash, and not through the ECM.
