I got about 16-17 out of my ecoboost couple weeks ago pulling a Bonneville up and down hills maintaning 65-70 mph. I don't know how much weight total i was towing but i know it pulled it like it wasn't there.
I had a first gen Titan that was like that too. Intake/Exhaust/Tune had it at just shy of 300 RWHP @ 4,900 rpm and 400 rwtq @ 2,900 on a Mustang dyno. With the factory tow package 3.36 gear it was suprisingly good on gas towing. I would lock out 5th gear and use the Tow Mode. That engine would just sit at 2,500 rpm uphill at 70 mph. I had over 8,500 lbs behind it multiple times and could not have asked for more grunt. I averaged 15 pulling the G-van on the trailer.

From a few articles I just scanned through I can still get 16-18 mpg or more and I'm prolly getting less than that now and I can also still get those spg(smiles per gallon)

Well I think I'm sold on the lq4 turbo lol. I think I'm gonna look around and find a way I can turn it up and down while driving for work or (play) lol and then normal driving.

This and a low pressure regulator.
I'll find part number Tuesday when I go to work.

We are doing a S366 with a big turbine on my buddy's LC9 (10.1:1 CR 5.3). Gonna see how it does towing his mustang in a 28' enclosed.

I would suggest going to the next size up wastegate too. I have a 38mm and bought another on so I'll have 2 38mm wastegates to control my boost.
When I do the turbo on my 2500HD I'm gonna run a 60mm wastegate.

They have a 5 speed don't they? Newer ones have a 6 speed?
My uncle worked at Nissan and had the first and second generation titans. First ones weren't all that impressive and had bunch of electrical issues.
2nd one had a 6sp I think and it felt really strong.

5spd in the 1st gen. 7 speed in the 2nd gen. The only 1st gens that had electrical issues were pre 2007s. The electical issues were limited to the Intelligent Power Distribution Module which was corrected by a new design, a fuel level sending unit issue, and the King Cabs had a recall for the seat belt pretensioner harness in the rear doors. 1st gen towed alot better than my 5.7L Express van did stock.

I can mount this in the cab and attach a digital gauge for on the fly adjustment?
Yea. You can mount it anywhere.
I put the mac valve and regulator under my dash.
I flowed mine with compressed air to set it and used that for my initial test.
Mac valve off is wastegate spring pressure. Energize valve and it let's air from the regulator push on top of the wastegate diaphragm so it closes it some for more boost.

You don't need a gauge for it tho. Just use a vac/boost gauge hooked to the intake manifold.
I got a autometer off summit for $30 on sale. -30hg/20psi.

What about running a lq4 with a air to air inter cooler? I should be able to run 15psi of boost with 91+ Oct and it seems more practical considering I would have to wait to spoil and looks a lot easier to install and tune myself
