    i have had a bb tune for almost 2 years, 100% of tm removed, and i have some trans mods, i roast them off the line, and roast them again on the 1-2 shift. thing runs amazing. my buddy tells people how fast my truck is, and its not even that quick lol

    i have a 180 in mine, mines also tuned though, only reason i changed it was because i had to pull the radiator, and i say the 5 bucks for a t stat is good insurance when draining the cooling system. i wouldnt go any lower then 180. i also got a fail safe one, so when it does go, it stays open

    thats because it has to keep the rpms up otherwise if it shifts it will fall flat on its face. going up hills or under heavy load or if you stay on the gas more, it will keep it in that gear and let it rev up more. if your real worried about it, you can get a vette servo
