Is there a difference in latchs over the years?? When I got my 96 Yukon, the driver side cargo door was missing the lower latch. No big deal, I got one when from a 99 I think Tahoe. But it won't fit, the bolt pattern is different. I figured the relatively short span they made they would they would be the same, guess not. I can try to get a pic, but it's negative ******' cold right now...

I thought they would be the same. Minus electrical. I know some cargo doors didn't have defrost

I don't know if it would matter either, mine does have the defrost. Wouldn't be a big deal to get one from a 96 or any other year, but by now they be rotted!!! The Tahoe where I got the replacement was super clean.

Well if gm changed it then that's news to me. Your referring the bolt pattern to the hinges right?
