while I am not big on the blue oval I have to say that bumpside dentside bullnose bricknose arrownose are just okay only way I would want one though is if it had a 300 460 or 7.3 turbo c6 auto or manual
I have a particular soft spot for the 70s F250s and F350s (300, 360, 390, and 460 - never been keen on the 351M or 400 for whatever reason).

The modifieds (400 is considered one as well) are gutless from the factory, cams are retarded 6 degrees just like the 454 Vortec. But a timing set from a 351 Cleveland will fix that problem right up.

Believe that there were also quality control issues regarding the 400 block casting for several years(?).

In automotive timeline terms they are old, but that's not what bothers me. "Old body style" was used, and should still be used to mean the previous body style. Continuing to use OBS to mean a particular body style is like using the term "yesterday" to mean the date 4/29/2024 a week, a month, a year, and decades from now. Just like "yesterday", OBS should be a sliding reference.
GMT400 - OBS
GMT800 - NBS
GMT900 - NNBS
GMTK2XX - NNNBS
GMTT1XX - N4BS?

I look at this like the "Stage" terminology for performance upgrades. It's lazy language and ignorance.

Most people have no idea what "GMT 400/800 etc. means. I started using the"OBS/NBS " because then I didn't have to explain as much. I think it started out being an abbreviation for "original body style" since the trucks were no longer C/K 10/20/30 but 1500/2500/3500....
