Got the new 275/60s mounted on my Progressive 15x9s, they will be going on my 97 C1500 once that gets fixed up, can't wait to see how they look on the truck.

Where did you get those?
They had been discontinued for several years with only rumours of reproducing.
I've gone through 3 sets of them. In that size. Since they quit making them, I've given up looking.
In the rain, Coopers can't compare. Not even close.
The Firestones straight-up embarrass the BFG's in both the wet and the dry.
The tread looks like a Grampa tire. Deceiving as to their performance.
Good choice!

I had gotten them on Amazon for about $142 per tire a few months ago. Says they're made in Mexico, must be a dealer down there that's remaking them again. They were also fairly fresh tires too, only a few months old when I got them.

Picture is a bit deceiving, but these ones will still have that classic Firehawk tread pattern: www.amazon.com/Firestone-Firehawk-Season-Radial-Tire-P275/dp/B002R216SY/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=firestone+firehawk+indy+500+275%2F60%2F15&qid=1651202946&sprefix=firestone+firehawk+indy+500+275%2F60%2Caps%2C470&sr=8-1

I was running 15x6 trailer wheels with hub caps off a '78/'79 Impala.

Then I got some off a '71/72 (I lost two one of the '78/'79's).

Then I lost two of the '71/'72's in the same trip, so I'm running the '71's in the front, and the '78's in the rear.

Mine are American Racing Super Novas, 20x12 and 20x 9.5 with 285/35/20 rear and 255/35/20 front, I like them cause they flash really well and are pretty easy to wipe down,

Did you have a tough time fitting the 20x12’s? I just impulse bought some and I’m contemplating on whether or not they’ll fit well and not stick out too far.

Bobby hasn’t been here in over a year I wouldn’t expect a response, also I’m thinking his post was a typo those do not look to be 20x12, I believe they r 20x10 but that’s just a guess. If they r 20x12 then it is most definitely tubbed in the rear. What is the offset on the wheels you got?

Agreed.. 20x10 require 6" backspacing to fit without any mods. I rolled the rear fender lips a little bit anyway just in case.
