I'm Awesome
We bought a 2000 Silverado (GMT800) ECSB 1500 2wd, 4.8, 4l60E, 3.42 disc brake rear. It is fairly beat up but has 168K on it and it runs pretty good with the exception of an intake leak. The plan is to swap everythong possible from the 2000 into our 93 (ecsb, 4.3, 5 speed). I hope to literally swap the 4.8 mated to the 5 speed into the 93 using the 2000's fuel lines, fuel tank, modded wire harness, throttle cable, air box and maybe the radiator and battery tray. I will also swap to the GMT800 brake master. I plan to sell the 4.3, 4L60E, disc brake rear and anything else I can to recoupe some cash. I see that the front calipers are a dual piston, has anyone adapted them to a 400? I plan on using every part of the "buffalo" as possible. Is there anything else that I should keep from the 800 to use as an upgrade or should I just sell the rest?
