Hello all!
I've pulled the dash on my '95 c1500 to paint it, and now that it's out I'm wondering what else I should do while it's out.
My list:
-heater core
-blower motor
-swap cassette deck for new head unit
-blend door actuators
-A/C delete

Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated!

Check all the foam seals around the heater to defroster ducts. Pull the Blower motor and clean all the leaves and junk off the evaporator core. If your removing the evaporator it would be best to clean out the whole box. Lots of dust has settled in there over the years.

Now is the time to add any wire grommets and wire through the firewall. You can always use a body plug and pierce it later to route wire. The hard part is the hole.
I'm running new speaker wires while it's pulled apart, but I can't think of anything to run through the firewall. Any mods you'd recommend that need the extra wiring? I have the cab off the truck so now's the time to do any of that kind of work. It won't get any easier than this!
