What driveshaft would I use?

Hey all I got a Regular cab short bed 1988 k1500 5.7 with the rear diff ratio of 3.42 . I recently bought a 5lm60 (5speed manual I think 32 spline last I counted ) to replace the transmission but its a 2wd trans but that's ok entire 4x4 system its donezo. What driveshaft would setup would I need for this to work

You're removing the 4WD components? Wouldn't be MY first choice.

I guess you'll need a 32-spline trans yoke, with a driveshaft long enough to reach the pinion yoke.

Be sure to buy a yoke with the proper sealing method--vented vs. non-vented, depending on the transmission. Also verify that the ID of the tailshaft bushing fits the OD of the yoke you select. I would get a yoke that'd accept a 1350 U-joint.

Since you're likely going to need a custom-length driveshaft, might as well get large-diameter tubing, and 1350 front U-joint, and whatever rear U-joint fits 1350 at the shaft, and the size of U-joint that the pinion yoke takes.

Maybe upgrade the pinion yoke to 1350 also.
