What brand of shocks would yall replace with original ones for 97 GMC 1500 4X4?

My truck is riding rough after getting it back. 160,000 miles on original shocks need to replace them.

Bilstein 4600s are pretty much the gold standard for stock ride height GMT400s in my opinion. I won't run anything else on my '97s.

+1 Bilsteins. I just put a set on my '94 ECSB diesel and they're magical.
They seem expensive, but the price of cheap shocks is so high that there's no economy in saving a few dollars if you plan to keep the truck.
