Hello all! I just purchased a 1997 v6 single cab short bed truck. I am putting a 350 V8 out of my 1979 malibu because thats getting an LS. Anyways im stuck on the wiring. What wiring do I not need and how can I get it out of there so it doesn't get in the way. I dont really want to cut it as its getting an LS as well in a few years. Is there any way I can seperate the chassis harness and the engine harness. I think it can be done by the passenger side under the AC tank. I just cant figure out how to separate them as mine has some sort of glue or something on it, and I don't want to yank the wires out of the plug by pulling too hard. I can include pictures in a bit.
