Vortec alternator upgrade

I was looking into doing this but using 1/0 for the main pos and neg, then 4ga for the others. Got some prices on Amazon. Somewhere around $150

I bought an AcDelco 140 Amp 335-1041. $100 on Walmart.com right now. Had to get the harness adapter. Can't remember where I bought, but it was online, too. The first one was a dud, but the second one has been running fine for 3 years now. Mega stereo upgrade pending!

A little less than what? Cruise is at 128A

Lol. No not disappointed. I'm excited still. Btw. Do you know if I can temp run the stock wires til I get the material for the big 3?

Yes, your battery will only pull what your system draws, you won't max your stock cables with stock load.

Blue Streak rotor and cap, makes a happy distributor! The color makes it easier to see back there in the cave too!
