If he has a good scanner he should be able to monitor the injectors and see the pressure dropping on them.

Heres my misfire history since last thursday when i cleared the code. The guy said my distributor could be off one tooth. Im going to check that out tomorrow.

Off one tooth would just advance or retard timing, not cause misfires

Well from what I understand timing in these trucks is quite a process, that requires a scanner if I'm not mistaken

Well, i retarded the timing by one cog and the skipping is gone alltogether. The only thing now is that i have a P1345 code now. Could i have a bad crankshaft or camshaft position sensor?
