Using PTFE tape or Teflon tape on metal fuel line fittings?

Found Them!!! S.U.R.& R. auto parts at Summit racing K270 (5/16") and K275 (3/8").
This seems to be the right ones depending if you want M14 or M16, most sites just assume that we know '3/8 in GM' means M16x1.5 (and 5/16 means M14). Will give it a try and return here

Old thread, but my Home Brew just vacated out of my nose, when I read do you want a M14 or M16. I want both but I am in Canada, and that ship never even got out of port.

The "K275" (m16x1.5 to 3/8") has the o ring and fits in the GM lift pumps
