So my truck has been on Jack stands for 3 months. I haven’t started it, put it in gear, nothing. Does anyone have any idea as to why it would all the sudden start leaking transmission fluid from the rear of the transmission at the diveshaft yoke? Not a drop for 3 months and then all of the sudden a puddle? Truck is a 1997 Tahoe, 5.7L

The truck's a little un-level and the o-ring up inside the tail shaft has been leaking and the tilt allowed the fluid to flow out the weep hole in the yoke? Just a guess.

The rear suspension is hanging that allowed the drive shaft to pull back and help it leak a little bit better?
