Torque Conveter Question

My tranny (700r4) is gonna be replaced soon. I already purchased a stage 2 built trans. It came with a 2300-2600 stall converter. Is it too much converter for my truck? All stock except exhaust, few bolt ons. Thanks!

yes sell it get an s10 one if you want an upgrade or an 1800

Im runnin one just over 2k stall and my motor is still pretty much stock. I can hardly tell the difference from stock.

I think the 23-2600 one you have will be good, give you more take off speed, just be sure to run a nice size trans cooler and you will be great.
