Hey guys,

So I finally replaced the tranny (4l60e) and the torque converter in my 97 c1500.

Added 1 gallon of trans fluid (I know I need more than that) but I only have the 1 gallon on hand.

Started her up and let her run for about 10 minutes or so.
Dip stick is reading DRY AS A BONE and truck will not engage in any gear.

Any suggestions guys?
Thank y’all so much!

One gallon? The system takes 12 quarts or so (aka 3 gallons). Go get & add more.

DO NOT put it into Drive or Reverse until you have added a min of 9-10 quarts and then only put in D or R with foot on break. Then put back into park and top it off with another couple quarts.

Luckily you only had one gallon instead of two...
