Well, I took it down to check the line bore, he said he saw the Crack as he was torqueing the caps. So, he hot tanked it and found its about 3 inches long :893Chainsaw-Smilie-
$170.oo lesson. I did not see it.
Actually, I only paid 500 for the long block. Got a set of 2.19 heads, steel forged crank, TRW pistons and rods out of the deal. So I can't complain.
Well, I can, but just like in the house, ain't gonna do no good

Hello,
Can someone tell me what this is and the function? Mine was missing when I purchased the truck. I know it’s connected to EVAP canister. I have the two plastic lines and used electrical tape to hold together temporarily. 96 k2500 454 burb.

I could use some help deciphering the one I'm going to build now.
Casting # 14015445 = 75 to 90 454
Scoped thru pan hole, is a 4 bolt main
What I ask help with is;
Stamped obove timing cover = T06061SB
And, stamped on pass block pad = CJE197066

Anybody have where I can get this.
It's in my 88 Cheyenne dually, I was told it's original.
I don't think so??.?

NeverMind. I figured out it’s a test port. Now wondering why or how I’m not getting a check engine light with this missing and me taping the two lines together? How is the leak effecting the truck?

Hit Ctrl+"F" and type in your casting number. You'll find...

75-90
454

See my dilemma?

Block casting #14015445 = 454

Pass pad = CJE197066
Over timing case cover = T06061SB

Tells me 454, CJE tells me 69 Chevelle 402

This in my 88 C3500

Not sure if I'm about to reply to someone or what's going on, think in in the right thread. First post so bear with me. Anyways, I got a problem with my oil pressure gauge on my 93 k1500 5.7. the gague is all the way maxed out unless the engine is warm and under about 700rpm, at low driving idle it shows me 30psi +/- which is probably right, I'm just not sure why it's absolutely cranked otherwise. With my minimal knowledge of these trucks my best guess is my oil pressure sensor. Anyone more experienced care to chime in?

Looks like a bad sending unit to me; that's what the gauge looked like when it went bad on my Burb.
