After wiping out the rear shocks I purchased some 2.0 Fox 14" reservoir units to replace them and needed new mounts for the longer shocks. I drew up this model and had the parts cut out on the CNC plasma and I bent them in a large brake.
Then, of course I welded the assemblies up.
To mount them I had to remove a portion of the bedsides I'd painstakingly welded in before.
Then the new mounts were burned in directly to the tube above, the frame and the sheet metal around them.
I used Ballistic Fab shock tabs on my existing u-bolt plates for the lower mounts.
With a nice coat of paint.
