It would be a 34/12.00. But no tire manufacture makes a tire that size.

well i have cooper discoverers and they are measured at that....interesting. i was hoping for 35's but knew better

National tire said my 305/70/17 were a 34x12, but according to my tape measurer they are a little over 33 tall an 10 wide....

Yeh that's the bad thing about tires. They are never the size there suppose to be.

In this case it was probably better lol. It turned out perfect. If it had been as big as they said I might have been in trouble lol.

there has been alot of bs-ing that goes on about tire size....I have the formula to figure from metric to standard....I convert all day long haha....

all tires vary manufactuer to manufcctuer for the same given size and the width of the rim is also a factor in actual mounted width, height, ect. ive had differant 305s mounted on the same 16x10 rims and some taller and narrower than 33x12.5 on a 16.5x9.75 rim, others about the same height but wider. bfg at, gy duratrac, swamper ssr, swamper thornbird, bfg mt, and wc radial rvt being the tires of comparison. also, 285bfgs are about identical in size to a 32x11.5 swamper sx on a 16x8 wheel. ya, ive been through some tires, somtimes they just seem to go up in smoke.
