Tbi vs vortec pros/cons

Im looking at buying a new trucknor tahoe and was wanting to know what the big diff in power/gas/problems between the 2 would be

Vortec ~ intake manifold gaskets can be problematic on higher mileage vehicles. Factory roller camshaft = more power, less friction. I would take a vortec any day of the week and twice on Sunday over a TBI having owned a Caprice TBI / driven TBI trucks and vortec trucks. Better cylinder heads and a faster computer help out in both the power and economy department.
