I just went through the TBI-EFI-CARB drama myself. Same issue that you are seeing, idles fine but under load it would have no power and bog. Have a BBC car hauler. A few things to check:
1. Fuel filters - make sure they are new
2. Dizzy - check timing. I went to a HEI and dialed in initial-mechanical (springs)-vacuum (limited vacuum with Crane can)
3. Carb 1411- larger secondary jet - lighter spring to bring in power mode sooner
4. Check for vacuum leaks - spray starter fluid around base of carb and intake manifold - check hoses for cracks
5. Exhaust - after do all of the above and still having issue I cut muffler and CC out (it was the 4th so noise did not matter) and it solved my issue with power under load. Both were clogged.
Hope this helps.
