So this pulls up at the upholstery shop next door, this after noon. A 1969 Cougar XR 7 with auto trans, factory air, and a 351 Cleveland. Looks all original.

Oh hell yes! Not a Ford man personally but I have a soft spot for these. Super cool.

You had me right up to "Cleveland". That sucks. They came with the best sbf ever, the 351 Windsor.
I've owned 4 of these. 1 was a 'vert. I have always loved these.
1st divorce took care of mine. I miss them.
1 was a rare 390 bench seat car. I always thought it was weird that FoMoCo broke down VIN numbers/body style by bench or bucket seats.
