For Sale: Rust bucket POS of your imagination
Invested over $5000 into this POS, only asking $6000obo FIRM!!
-New gas tank cost $1200 with labor
-New brake pads cost $300, but the old rotors were still fine
-Rebuilt transmission, but that was 100k+ miles ago and was done before I bought it. Must have cost at least $3000 back then
-New intake gaskets cost $200
-New ball joints 5 years ago cost $400
-New spark plugs cost $50
-New battery 6 years ago cost $100, its dead now though
-New tires 60,000 miles ago cost $450
-New Christmas tree air freshener cost $3 with installation

I know the way it looks this POS is only worth $500 but look at how much I've put into it. I may accept trades but not for pile's of junk, I know what I have!

OMG you nailed every one of them!

It doesnt run right now but that's only a sensor, and there's not much rust for its age

what amazes me are how many times you see these two statements, it’s almost like there’s a “selling your POS handbook “ that everyone is using:

1) Brand new (or rebuilt) fresh transmission (or engine) only 2,000 miles ago

2) check engine light is on and I’m told it’s only the O2 sensor, about a $20 fix no big deal. Or water pump recently went out but you can get one for $40 no big deal.

Really sad that a truck gets to this point because it was probably a good truck at one time. Now it’s a tub of **** you’d be sorry to own. Couple shade trees disassembled it and couldn’t get it back together. Classic Craigslist handbook story to go along with it. I’d probably wouldn’t take it if he paid me $1100 to haul it off.

If that was closer, Id buy it if it came with a camper for $1100. Looks pretty clean other than the paint peel. However i wouldnt mess with that 6.5 lol.
