step side to standard bed swap

RE: 93 k1500 4wd step side , 93 c1500 2wd standard bed

Will these beds swap over with no mods needed?

You need the filler neck for the fleetside bed. If you care the plastic is trimmed narrower under the tailgate on the stepside but it won't be an issue.

The rear chrome bumper is also different between the step side and fleet side.
step side is notched more below the tailight

no mods just part swapping the frame is the same if that's what you mean.
a lifted 4x4 step look's tough,well any lifted 4x4 truck looks good.
a lowered 2wd step is all wrong
but the best part is someone will buy every thing you take off.

Also helps to get the tail light harness. The stepside harness will fit. But it's a bit of a stretch. I just did this swap a few weeks ago
