Steering knock?

well the noise has stopped for the time being, im sure its because i tried to tread at least a foot of rainy muddy water and my wheel bearings didnt like that too much
Well if it ever comes back Great White ill be sure to do that, but being under my tahoe all the connections from the steering box throughout the rest of the IFS looked solid.

Check your upper control arm bolts. If one is loose it will pop or knock while turning.
