I’m using a ‘97 K2500 truck to move my work trailer around. Jobs average 1-2 hours away and the trailer weighs roughly 13k lbs. I have a 70’s(I think) 454 that I’m seriously considering building up to replace the 5.7 that is in the truck now. I’m not very knowledgeable on the ECM’s or anything computer related. Give me anything old school and I can do whatever you want to it. My questions are, would it be best to go to carb or some type of fuel injection? Will my 4L80 work if the engine isn’t running on an ECM?
