I know the rear of the truck was hit when owned by the previous owner.....I took down the spare and really see how bad it is. Lower frame is buckled and looks like someone welded a plate(s) to make it straight (take up the gap) and installed the hitch. Can someone post what it should look like? 1997 K2500 8600 GVW, Thanks

As long as the body lines line up and the gap between the cab and bed are good I wouldn’t worry about it. I’m more concerned about the amount of rust, but I’m in Texas and that’s not normal to me.

THX 95burban. Yeah, good gaps and tracks straight with no abnormal tire wear. The rust looks worse in the pics...really solid. She lived life in Florida until I brought her to PA in 2015....poor girl started rusting right away :)
