I have a 1992 GMC Extra Cab 2x4 350sbc auto in Australia.
parts here are a little harder to get so i need a larger shop in the L.A area i can put an order in with and have everything delivered to the importer i use in the Long Beach freight terminal area that brings parts to Australia by Sea Freight since 1990.
i need 2 chrome bumpers, full rubber kit, doors, side windows rubbers, door rubbers, etc, mirrors, door handles, grill, front blinkers etc. tailgate parts, carpets etc, etc.

i would prefer a larger part supplier that SPECIALISES IN THESE MODELS and has the stuff in stock and not on back order from chinese suppliers.

any leads appreciated.

A) No dealer, in LA or anywhere else, is gonna have all that stuff in stock. These trucks are 25 years old at their youngest, dealers may have a few odds and ends laying about, but they're 4 generations old now.
B) Most parts houses (LMC or whoever) are able to deliver nationwide, wouldn't be a big deal to get them to ship to your freight forwarder in Long Beach.
C) Many parts houses will ship international directly, that may be better for lightweight stuff like door seals etc.

Just my thoughts.

Also, most of, at least this list, are discontinued parts. China parts are mostly what is available for aftermarket. For original parts, finding a donor truck is best. Australia severely complicates this option.

He needs to import a parts truck, or put one in pieces in a container....our trucks are "antiques" right?

I could take Asian Knock offs long as there good, The Taiwan stuff and Korean parts are good, my main go is i want to buy as much as i can from 1 shop. I have bought my camaro stuff from Summit over the years but not much listed for the 88 up to 92, 94 models. saw a few good shops mid west but i need Californian sellers,, so i can use my shipper in L.A

Holley has a classic trucks department now and offer a whole bunch of stuff for our trucks. Summit carry’s their stuff as well. I bet if you went through holleys website and found part numbers for everything you wanted, summit could get it for you.
