Alright fellas.. I need some help deciding on my shocks. As alot of you know, I have the rear trac bars with 2 more rear shocks on each, totaling 6 shocks in the rear. I couldnt tell you what type of shocks are on my truck at all, since all 8 are covered in liner. Don't mind the pics, most are from before or right when I was cleaning up/repainting the undercarriage.

Rig: 97 K1500 Reg Cab StepSide
Weight: ??? Going to weigh it at the scales when I get home.
Suspension: 6" ProComp lift w/ rear lateral tracs, add a leafs, and overloads.
Wheels/Tires: Currently 35" BFG A/Ts on 15" AR Venturas, Will be changed to 35" KM2s on Slotted Mags/Turbines when I get home.

I want to replace my shocks on the truck, as I am not quite sure how old they are, and could probably be replaced. What would be the best to use? The truck is my DD, and will be used to tow some later down the road. No real off roading with it, since plans are in the works for a dedicated rig.

Go to Bilstein's site and get the P/N's. You won't be disappointed. Get the 5100's. Might want to call to make sure you get the right ones.

Bilstein is what I am getting suggested with all the other places and people I have asked, so I probably will. I am also probably going to ditch the lateral tracs on the rear.
