Has anyone installed a new bushing in the tailshaft of a 4L60E? The end where the driveshaft slides in.
After installing my flip, the driveshaft had gone further into the tranny, unfortunately I was not paying attention to the end of the yoke that goes into the tranny and it had a little corrosion/rust on it. I had taken it off and cleaned it up and replaced the old seal with a new one. Well, it seems as though the seal is wearing out again because its leaking a little more than before. Fluid is all over the undercarriage as well as the tailgate and rear window.
Is there a tool to remove the bushing? If so, does anyone have a part number or link?
Someone had mentioned that there may be an entire assembly ready to install. Unbolt and remove and bolt back up and go, thats what I'm talkin about.
Any and all info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
