questions on DIY windshield removal/install

I cut a windshield out with a utility knife that has the changeable razor blades. The windshield was in my 97 crew cab. I will say I will never do that again. Biggest PIA! Needless to say I broke the windshield. If there are any cracks or chips, you will be wasting your time trying to remove it without the tools the pros use.

I'm with everyone else. Pay to have it done.

Pay to have it done, it's not worth the trouble. Especially later on down the road, if you don't seal it back up perfectly you'll have to deal with leaks or worse
