I just deleted the AC in my 1995 Sierra. I removed the compressor, condensor, canister, and hoses. I was going to cap off the 2 lines coming into the cabin but had an idea. Has anyone ran wiring through one of the hose lines? The larger hose would be perfect for a nice 4AWG or larger wire.

I haven't looked behind the dash to see how the line is routed. Is it possible to disconnect it inside easily so that I can just use that section as a pass through for the power wire?

The two lines coming out of the firewall are part of the evaporator core. You'd have to remove your dash and crack open the HVAC box to cut the core open to fish wire through. Why not just drill a hole on a blank area nearby and use a grommet? Or drill a smaller hole and use a trick bulkhead pass-through connector?
