Power Mirror Switch Wiring

I got my power mirrors wired up today and everything works except the part that moves the mirrors to the right, it doesn't work on either size and another issue is that the switch itself seems to be reversed (R controls drivers side//L controls Passenger) which is not as big a deal as the other issue. Anyways is the fact that the mirrors wont move the the right a problem with the switch or with my wiring? How can I test the switch to see what is happening?

It is a 94 switch which is the square one so it may be different from the 95+ switches.
