Polished up my aluminum rims today probably last polish job till spring at that point I'll have the tires removed and do a wet sand and then buff job. But had to compliment the new tires waiting on a bunch of new parts when there all installed I'll detail the truck out post some nice pics. It's alot of work keeping these aluminum rims mint but sure worth it when there buffed sure beats that ugly lazy black out look crap

Those look great! I need to strip the tires off of mine and wet sand them down to clean metal and start over.
When I bought the truck, I didn't even realize they were aluminum wheels!!!! They were dark brown from rust and brake dust. I thought they were old chrome plated steel wheels that had rusted over.

I typically take red scotch bright with soapy water go over then to get the grime off then start wet sanding I do this once a year takes a entire day start to finish but DAM they look good afterwards definitely worth the effort. Buy a big case of beer or a 60 or rum that I find help. My phone is a sonum xp8 so it doesn't take great pictures

One thing I've noticed that helps a s h i t ton when polishing wheels, is to buy one of those orbital polishers like this one: https://www.farmandfleet.com/produc...MIlY38y62F9AIVMSc4Ch1IMwHIEAQYBiABEgKqJfD_BwE

Shined up these wheels I had purchased from a junk yard that were hazed. The Mother's powerball didn't seem to work as good as that polisher did:

Yup I have one for each wheel help alot. Mines the mother's ones need that cone shape to get into the holes but I spend alot of time wet sanding I spend about 3-4 hours pers wheel each spring start to finish. They shine way better then new. I'll look into your set up maby it'll save me time while I'm doing the rest of the wheel
