Overhead console in silverado

Has anyone ever put a tahoe long overhead console in a silverado? I have a 97 extended cab. Me and my uncle come up with the idea to put one in my standard cab and put my aftermarket guages in the spot for the climate control. We never really figured out how to mount it because we never had time to pull the headliner. He passed away last november and i would like to do it to my extended cab and finish what we started. Thanks in advance.

They fit. If you need the blank for it for gauges, I have a couple spares.

Ive already got the guages mounted. Me and him built a blank and all. Does the silverado have a spot for the back to hook or do i need to fab something up?

The slots in the roof are there, just have to measure and cut the headliner.
