Opinions On Blacking Out Chrome?

I have a 98 GMC z71, been doing a few mods such as smoking tailights, smoked signal lights, painted gmc emblems. I was wondering how the trim would look around the body and wheel wells would look painted black or color matched? I was also thinking of putting box liner or rock guard on the rocker panels. Any opinions or pictures would be helpful. Heres some pictures of my truck to give you guys an idea what im working with! Also, i painted the center of the wheels black ill update the pictures sometime soon.

Yea, i used rattlecan bedliner from autozone

Look at loudnlifted88s truck. Its the same color as yours and it has duplicolor truck bed coating from the body lines down. I think your truck would look better all one color and personally I think chrome pops way more on the teal

Rock guard the rockers, remove the wheel trim and molding, and color match everything else.
