Looking for used set of fender flares for 92-99 suburban , I know I can eBay them , but waiting to see if bargain arises here for a set

I have a set of Xenon flares for sale. Ready for paint and already have tape on them. They are white right now...

Was going to install them of my '92 but going with a different route.

Still amazes me that you guys get away with 'poke' (to use your own expression). No such word for it here in the UK as it's not permitted and will cause a vehicle to fail its annual safety inspection.

That varies based on location. Where I live nobody cares what we do to vehicles, except the occasional state cop, who was gonna pull you over anyway.
