Hi guys,
My buddy just bought an 1988 Chevy Cheyenne 4.3 manual for his 16 year old son. It broke the shift shaft socket pin 2 weeks ago and we were able to repair it temporarily with a cut down nail, but now the nail sheared off also.
What have you guys done to replace this shift shaft socket pin in a more permanent way? It sure seems like a small pin to receive so much torque. Any tips or advice is greatly appreciated.
