New here, 1992 GMC C1500

While working on the truck I have also been freshening up this to replace the V6. It's a 97 Vortec 305. I haven't rebuilt it, as it ran great before being removed from the donor truck. Just replaced gaskets, timing chain, and the oil pump. Plans are to keep it old school with a Rochester carb.

Plan ahead for the throttle TV cable bracket, I had to cobble one together for my carb converted 92 with a 350 & 700R4.
