I'm Awesome
1990 C1500 with 305 runs great. I just did a tune-up with plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pct valve and air filter.
My truck is running great except when dead cold. If I just turn the key, it takes a couple of hits for it to start, and when it does, it will chug and try to stall, and then it will smooth out and be fine. If I crack the throttle a bit, it will fire right up and be fine. As soon as it starts, I can take off and it will run just fine and all starts after that are normal. Hit the key and go. I even changed the temp sensor that feeds the ECM. That made a big improvement in the cold drivability but the starting issue remains.
Any ideas?
