Need help ID'ing VSS on my '96 Z71 auto trasmission

Can anyone help with identifying the vehicle speed sensor on the automatic transmission of my '96 Z71 w/5.7 V-8 + 4x4? The shop manual says that on the 4 wheel drive, that it's on the transfer case. However, I see a sensor at the tail shaft area on the tranny, drivers side, that screws into the housing but not one on the transfer case. The problem is that the speedometer does not work, the ABS/antilock light is on & the transmission doesn't want to ship to 2nd. Is this the correct one? Any links to pictures of the transmission with sensor?

Thanks woody31, for both posts. After looking at the link I see that the tail end of tranny is actually the transfer case. This the guy I think is bad.
