Not sure how much torque you'd lose, but you would lose a little. Ever seen an LT1 dyno? Here's one of mine.
Blue is unrestricted, the other 2 are restricted. See how the torque never really swells in the middle? That's because of the intake. It won't be that dramatic if that's your concern. I was not aware of that Edelbrock intake, that's waaaay cheaper than the tunnel ram! Looks like a bucket of win to me. Bear in mind the additional plumbing and stuff required for any of these intakes.
