MSD coil issues

When my ignition module went out, and went back to a Oreilys OEM coil trying to trouble shoot it and haven't reinstalled it back yet. I was running a MSD Cap, street fire wires and coil.

i had the msd coil ,rotor,dist cap the coil was arcing between the metal straps i took it back and got the oem coil and it did the same thing so i used some
hot glue and put it between coil and the metal strap i don't see anymore arcing. and i had delco wires and they was arcing so i put 8mm accel wires on and
their doing it to but not as bad.
