Is USA mpg different than Canadian miles per gallon. As I remember gallons are smaller in USA. So if a 5.7 is at 13 mpg , is it rated more mpg in Canada???

Oh. Somewhat thought so.iirc, manufacturer fuel ratings in CDN if in mpg use american gallons.
but being bi lingual our prefered fuel rating is ...
liters/100 kms.
Ya I know. But 60 miles per hour is 65 miles per hour if 100 km. I think. Is Canada all metric? Kilometers per liter? This shows UK is diff'. Whatever is applied srandard is it should define the conditions. Zero to 60 mph. Or zero to 100 kilometers per hr. ( same thing )
Who is making the statement? Manufacturers, DOT, EPA .You must be registered for see images attach

Fly to German Republic, get fuel delivered to Aircraft. Fuel truck pumps liters. Convert liters to gallons, convert gallons to pounds. Cross check liters to kilos then kilos to pounds. Allways a laugh.
