lug nuts

My '97 hoe has Z71 rims from a newer hoe on it so there is nothing covering the lug nuts and I'm kinda worried about them getting eaten by the crap they put down on the roads in Minnesota so I don't know if there are caps I can get or if they are just fine. They do not have threads on the outside.

They appear to be plain-ol' lugnuts. Should be able to zip them off & swap if need be?

Get the ones with the threaded backing. and get the plastic lug nut thread over things.
