Hello. I picked up an lq4 at a local scrap yard this weekend for my sons 92 step side. I’ve worked on SBCs in the past, first time tinkering with an LS. There’s a few things that immediately stand out, broken fuel rail for example. The other is what appears to be a broken plug on the intake. My question is… can I purchase a replacement part (plug) to fix or should I begin shopping for an intake manifold? I’m trying to steer clear of a vacuum leak in future.

Thanks in advance. This forum has been an amazing resource over the years!

Those intakes are practically free if you look around. I've got 3 in my garage I can't get rid of.

TBSS intake is a decent upgrade for moderate cost.

I would think a simple rubber plug would be fine as long as you aren't running boost.
