Keyless entry question

So my main question is when y'all wire these keyless entry systems did y’all run power straight from the battery or did y'all use a fuse Accessory adapter like I've been told and if you did what fuse did y'all use? The kit i bought is a generic ebay one no alarm that has a inline 15 fuse
Truck is a 92 c1500 base model no power nothing

As long as there is a fuse ( like you have in the kit) and you use that, then you can go directly to the battery. You want the locks to have power all of the time, so you can lock and unlock the doors with out the key in the ignition.
