I am trying to figure out if the upper control arms from a k1500 will work on a c1500. I know they use the same ball joint.

Ps, are they any stronger than the stamped upper control arms the 2wds have?

I know that the 8 lug trucks control arms will swap on if I weld 2 holes shut and drill new style nes to fit the 1500 ball joints.

4x4 upper control arms are wayyyy stronger as they are drop forged instead of stamped sheet metal. Not sure if they will fit on a 2wd but I can go measure the ones on my 95 tahoe if it will help.

Yeah big tires will do that to the 2wd uppers! It's funny looking through the lifted 2wd thread seeing everyone with bent uppers lol I've done the same.. I'll measure tomorrow and let ya know

I appreciate it. Yeah she's riding on 35s for the moment. Just took the 37s off a few hours before it bent.

Don't the shocks mount ( the upper end) to the UCA on the 2wd? Sure thought that's how it is. Shocks on the 4x4 are mounted top end to a bracket on the frame...

If the 8-lug arms fit, the six-lug arms won't fit. The six-lug arms have narrower spacing at the bushing end.
