118 isnt bad, i paid $150 for my unimatic, and its not a ratchet.

the starshifter can be detent or ratchet and has reverse lock out and a neatral safety switch

well that is the point of a higher stall..... to not peel out and get traction while launching at a higher rpm.

yea but if you don't have slicks on it and heated tires that are sticky, it should be the exact same as putting it in neutral or holding the clutch in, revving to that rpm and dropping it. That would results in tires burning off. if they don't let you break tires loose something is wrong, and IMo aint worth **** if that's all they do. There'd be no use in running them on the street.

They are supposed to let you hold the brake and rev the engine up to leave at a higher rpm, they not peeling out should be all in the tires and traction.

Yes but they are for racing why get one if your not interested in racing your truck.
